Coaches must remain in continued affiliation with GNAS and have a current CRB check in place. Renewals are every three years but GNAS will notify you unless you have changed your address and not notified them.
Renewal Forms can be down loaded from the Archery GB website (at Coach-renewals) Only the first 3 page are needed. When completed these need to be forwarded to either Wellesley McGown or Margaret Stott.
CRB checks are usually due at the same time and these will need to be completed and returned in the envelope sent with them.
All Coach Grade coaches whether due for renewal or not, need to up grade to Level 2 before the end of 2012 when this Grade (Coach) will no longer exist. Self Assessment Forms need to be completed also for your Portfolio proving the completion of the Plan. Do and review exercises are now part of your Coaching requirements. Some other Courses are needed.
Contact Arthur Halligey or Sean Moore for further information.
Congratulations to the NIAS Junior Team in their success at the National Junior Indoor Championships in December 2011 winning the Regions Cup.
